Lisa Turan has worked in the voluntary sector since 1997 delivering management and leadership roles and has been CEO of the Child Brain Injury Trust since 2003. She is passionate about the sector and has overseen the development and growth of CBIT from a small local charity to one that now impacts on a national basis providing vital support to thousands of families who have been affected by childhood acquired brain injury. Lisa has built commercial partnerships and joint ventures that have contributed to the success of the charity’s income growth which has enabled corporate CSR strategies of many law and business services firms to exceed their expectations whilst making a difference to beneficiaries. Lisa has played a key role in policy development at government level across health, social care, justice and education and champions early intervention for anyone affected by childhood brain injury . Lisa has a Post Graduate in Charity Resource Management holds a IOF diploma and a diploma in charity accounting.
